Man arrested for allegedly punching, choking woman
Police arrested a 31-year-old Waianae man Saturday morning for allegedly punching and choking a 24-year-old woman.
At about noon on Oct. 1, the victim reported the suspect allegedly punched the back of her head several times and choked her.
At about 3:50 a.m., police encountered the suspect at a traffic stop on Komo Mai Drive in Pearl City.
Police arrested the 31-year-old man on suspicion of the felony abuse case and two contempt warrants.
