Kulani prison visitations canceled due to staff shortage
The Department of Public Safety canceled regularly scheduled visitation to Kulani Correctional Facility on Sunday.
Such cancellations have been a regular occurrence this year as the department continues to deal with ongoing staffing shortages.
On Saturday, the department canceled visitation to Halawa Correctional Facility and to the Hawaii island facilities Punahele, Komohana, Waianuenue.
