Police identify man who took selfie with stolen phone
Honolulu police have identified the man, who may have taken a selfie with a stolen cell phone.
But no arrests have been made. Police did not release any other details about the incident.
Police said a man “forcefully took” the purse and cellphone from a car at the Waipahu Transit Center at 2:45 p.m. on Sept. 21.
The victim received a photo, which police believe may have been taken with the stolen cell phone.
Police released the photo Wednesday and asked the public for help in identifying the man.
