A 24-year-old man was seriously injured Sunday evening when the moped he was operating apparently struck a parked car in Palolo Valley.
The incident occurred around 7:10 p.m. on 10th Avenue near Waiomao Road.
The man was transported by paramedics to a local trauma center.
Police closed the street from Waiomao Road to Kaalani Place while an investigation was conducted.
The road was reopened around 8 a.m. Monday.
