Stolen car arrest results in multiple charges against Puna man
A Puna man is facing multiple charges after he was arrested in connection with a stolen vehicle on Wednesday in Hilo.
Daesyn Pacheco-Muragin, 24, of Kurtistown, is accused of stealing a 1992 Honda Accord from the parking lot of the Prince Kuhio Plaza.
Pacheco-Muragin was already wanted for three counts of contempt of court and other cases unrelated to the vehicle theft.
On Friday, Pacheco-Muragin was charged with second-degree theft, first-degree terroristic threatening, abuse of a family/household member, unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle, promoting a detrimental drug and two counts each of promoting a dangerous drug and possessing drug paraphernalia. His aggregate bail was set at $15,250.
