A man believed to be in his 30s died Friday afternoon after the motorcycle he was operating collided with a car on Kamehameha Highway in Kaaawa.
The collision occurred shortly after 1 p.m. and prompted police to close the highway for almost four hours while an investigation was conducted.
The man was transported in critical condition to a hospital, where he later died.
