Weather cancels visits to Kulani Correctional Facility
Bad weather forced prison officials to cancel visiting hours Saturday at Kulani Correctional Facility on Hawaii island.
A Department of Public Safety spokeswoman reported downed trees and hazardous conditions along Stainback Highway, which leads up to the prison.
Visiting hours were rescheduled for Sunday.
All other state prisons were holding regularly scheduled visits.
