Waianae man arrested for throwing construction material at cars
A 49-year-old Waianae man damaged several moving vehicles by throwing rebar from a construction site Saturday night near Ala Moana Center, police said.
Police arrested the man at the center at 10:30 p.m. for investigation of four counts of criminal property damage, including two counts of second-degree criminal property damage, a class C felony, punishable by five years in prison.
Police said the man struck four passing vehicles with the material at 9:50 p.m. The man was also booked for investigation of criminal trespass.
