Strong earthquake hits off coast of Panama
A strong earthquake struck off the coast of Panama Tuesday night.
However, officials at the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center say there is no tsunami threat to Hawaii.
A preliminary report from the U.S. Geological Survey said the magnitude-6.6 earthquake occured at around 6 p.m. Hawaii time, roughly 150 miles south of Punta de Burica, Panama at a depth of 6 miles.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
