ML Macadamia already has a contract to supply nuts to Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Corp.
Hawaiian Host, Inc. said Tuesday it is buying Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co. from The Hershey Company.
Hershey bought Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut in 2004 for $130 million. The price Hawaiian Host is paying was not released.
Mauna Loa will join Hawaiian Host as a subsidiary, the companies said. Both companies will continue operating as two distinct, separate brands.
