The Medical Examiner’s office has identified the 47-year-old northern California man whose body was pulled from the ocean off Turtle Bay Resort Friday as Roger Carasso.

An autopsy will be done to determine cause of death of Carasso who was from San Rafael.

Paramedics treated and took the victim to the hospital in critical condition after he was pulled out of the ocean at 12:50 p.m. Friday. where he died.

The case has been classified as an unattended death, pending to outcome of the autopsy,
