2 motorists seriously hurt in H-1 hit-and-run
Two men were seriously injured Saturday in an apparent hit-and-run incident on the H-1 freeway near the Waimalu offramp.
The collision occurred around 7:22 p.m. in the east-bound lanes of the highway.
Paramedics transported the 40-year-old driver and his 38-year-old passenger to a local trauma center.
