A pickup truck hit and critically injured a woman jogging in a marked crosswalk in Mililani Thursday night.

Police said the accident happened at 7:09 p.m. at Meheula Parkway and Kuahelani Avenues, about a block from Makaunulau Community Park.

The 2012 Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by a 72-year-old man, was making a left turn onto to Kuahelani Avenue from the southbound lanes of Meheula Parkway when the pickup struck the jogger.

Paramedics took a woman in her 30s to the Queen’s Medical Center in critical condition.

The accident occurred in clear weather. It is unknown if speed was a factor, police said.
