Honolulu police detectives are investigating the death of a 59-year-old man.

The report was logged at about 7:45 p.m. Saturday.

The man was found with injuries, and Honolulu Emergency Medical Services transported him to  Wahiawa General Hospital, Honolulu police said.

His condition deteriorated and he was pronounced dead Saturday.

The case has been listed as an “unattended death” — even though he died at the hospital — pending a review by the Honolulu medical examiner.

No further information was available.
