The fourth annual list of America’s Happiest Seaside Towns by Coastal Living magazine ices Hawaii out of the running.

The magazine’s editors chose the top 10 by reviewing destinations previously lauded as Coastal Living Dream Towns, social media users’ nominations, and each town’s rank within the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index.

This year’s top 10 in alphabetical order are, Corona del Mar, Calif.; Delray Beach, Fla.; Monterey, Calif.; Narragansett, Rhode Island; Ocean Springs, Miss.; Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Southport, N. Carolina; Tybee Island, Ga.; Venice, Fla., and Wellfleet, Mass.

The magazine’s readers are being encouraged to vote for their favorite of the 10, which will be featured in an upcoming issue.
