Board of Water Supply crews are repairing a 4-inch main break fronting the HIlton Hawaiian Village hotel in Waikiki Thursday morning.

All lanes of Ala Moana Boulevard and Kalia Road are open again after crews finished repairs on a 4-inch main that broke Wednesday night.

The break, at about 6 p.m., left four businesses without water and closed one lane of Ala Moana Boulevard heading into town and two lanes of Kalia Road fronting the Hilton.

Repairs were completed by 6 a.m.

Meanwhile, one lane is still closed in the Koko Head direction on Waialae Avenue in Kaimuki after a water main break Monday night.

Board of Water Supply crews finished repairs Wednesday morning on the 12-inch main between 6th and 7th avenues. But the break damaged Hawaiian Telcom cables and Hawaiian Telcom crews were not able to start repairs until after the Board of Water Supply fixed the main and the road.

Hawaiian Telcom crews spent Wednesday clearing debris from a damaged manhole at the intersection of Waialae and 7th Avenue.

About 90 business and residential customers reported telephone and Internet outages.

Classes were to resume Thursday at St. Patrick School, which has been closed since Tuesday because of the water main break.
