Woman charged with damaging vehicle while trying to ram people
A 26-year-old Waipahu woman was charged Wednesday with damaging a vehicle while trying to ram a group of people in Waimanalo.
Amber Nakamura was charged with first-degree terroristic threatening and second-degree criminal property damage. Her bail was set at $20,000.
Police said Nakamura was driving a vehicle when she attempted to collide into four people about 5:30 p.m. Monday.
Police responded and discovered Nakamura had hit a parked vehicle, causing more than $1,500 in damage.
She was arrested at the scene on Waikaloa Street and charged Wednesday afternoon.
