Kapolei man charged with assaulting police officer
A 54-year-old man was charged Friday with assaulting a police officer in Kapolei.
Scott Langley, of Kapolei, was charged with third-degree assault and his bail was set at $2,000.
Police said an off-duty police officer saw Langley harassing a woman about 12:45 p.m. Friday.
When the officer intervened, Langley punched him, causing pain, police said.
Langley was arrested at Kumuhonua Transitional Living Center near Barbers Point.
