Power restored in Kalihi; Satellite City Hall, DMV reopen
The City Square Satellite City Hall and Department of Motor Vehicles have reopened after power was restored in the Kalihi area.
The facilities were temporarily closed following a power outage affecting 460 customers Wednesday afternoon.
A metallic balloon caused the outage, Hawaiian Electric spokesman Darren Pai said.
The city offices were reopened shortly after 3:20 p.m.
