Police looking for suspects in Kalihi beating, stabbing

Police blocked off North King Street near Liliha Street early Sunday morning after two men were beaten and stabbed late Saturday night.

Police are looking for three suspects who attacked two men Saturday night on North King Street in Kalihi.

Police said three men jumped out of a white sedan at about 11:30 p.m. and attacked the two victims, ages 33 and 37, who were walking on North King Street.

The 33-year-old man was hit on the head several times with a bat. The 37-year-old man suffered multiple stab wounds.

The case has been classified as a second-degree attempted murder.

Police have not released description of the three suspects or other details of the attack.

Police closed North King Street between Pua Lane and Liliha Street for several hours after the attack, while officers conducted an investigation.
