Signs warning of a shark sighting were put up along Kuhio Beach in Waikiki on Monday.
City lifeguards posted shark warning signs on Waikiki Beach Monday morning after a hammer head shark was sighted near the Kapahulu groin, an area known as the “Walls.”
Lifeguards are patrolling the area off Kuhio Beach after the shark was seen at about 6:15 a.m.
