CrimeStoppers released a photo of Justin Clark, 32, who has been missing since Tuesday on a hike on the Schofield/Waikane trail.

Fire rescue personnel resumed the search Thursday for a 32-year-old man missing in the area above Wahiawa since Tuesday.

Justin Clark told his mother by cell phone that he had fallen and suffered minor injuries. He also said that he was off the trail, disoriented and was attempting to make his way back to the trailhead. His last contact was a text message at about 4:15 p.m.

His family reported him missing Wednesday at about 12:32 p.m..

Capt. David Jenkins, a Fire Department spokesman, said Clark’s mother said her son has hiked in the area several times.

Clark apparently began his trek at 5 a.m. Tuesday, approximately three miles beyond California Avenue, on the Schofield/Waikane trail.

Searchers used multiple GPS plot points from Clark’s cell phone to formulate a search area. HFD personnel conducted ground and air searches until sunset.
