A 33-year-old Kaneohe man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of attempted murder after he walked in on his ex-girlfriend with another man and attacked the man, police said.

The incident began after the suspect entered his ex-girlfriend’s house in Kaneohe and saw her with a 42-year-old man, police said. The suspect allegedly threatened to kill the man and struck him with a dangerous instrument.

Police arrested the suspect at his Hololio Street home at 12:50 a.m. for investigation of second-degree attempted murder.

The victim did not have life-threatening injuries.
