Police and various repair crews responded to a water main break on Waialae Avenue near Koko Head Avenue where a sink hole appeared in the crosswalk.
The Board of Water Supply completed road repairs on Waialae Avenue after fixing a water main break that closed part of the road in Kaimuki.
All lanes of Waialae Avenue between Koko Head and 13th avenues were re-opened at about 10:30 p.m., more than 24 hours after the 12-inch water main break Monday.
