Hawaii island bamboo nursery loses $3,000 in plants to thieves
Hawaii County police are investigating thefts of $3,000 in plants within a week from a bamboo nursery in Kapaau.
Sometime between July 5 and July 7, $100 worth of potted plants were removed from a bamboo nursery on Pratt Road. Between Friday evening and Saturday morning, $500 worth of potted plants was removed. Between Saturday night and Sunday morning, $2,456 worth of potted plants were removed.
