This composite satellite image shows scattered clouds over the islands as tradewinds fade Monday morning.

Get ready for more hot, humid weather and volcanic haze for the next few days.

A change in winds will bring muggy weather, vog and an increased chance of afternoon showers in leeward and mauka areas.

The cooling tradewinds are fading, replaced by light and variable winds through Wednesday.

The lighter winds will allow sea breezes to blow in muggy air and vog.

Forecasters also expect clouds to form over leeward and mauka areas and cattered afternoon showers.

Tradewinds should return Thursday.
