A woman who was found murdered in Hilo Friday has been identified.

Hawaii island police said 49-year-old Danielle Caron, who had no permanent address, was identified through fingerprints.

Caron was found dead off Kamehameha Avenue on Friday, and police said there were obvious signs of foul play. Video footage from the area led to the arrest of a 35-year-old Shiloh, Ill. who was staying at a hostel off Waianuenue Avenue on suspicion of second-degree murder.
