Police arrest man in Chinatown stabbing
A 56-year-old homeless man is in police custody in connection with the stabbing of a 39-year-old man last month.
The 56-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder Tuesday night on Nuuanu Avenue, about a block from where the stabbing occurred on North Nimitz Highway on July 29.
The 39-year-old victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition with stab wounds to his chest and back.
