Body found floating off Sand Island
The body of a man was found 11:34 a.m. Thursday floating in the ocean off Sand Island, police said.
Emergency Medical Services was called, and the man was pronounced dead.
The case is pending an autopsy by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
The case was classified as an unattended death.
