Police ask for help in finding beauty shop gunman

  • Honolulu police released a sketch of a man suspected of robbing the Hair One Salon on Pensacola Street on July 17.

Police released a description and a sketch of the man suspected of robbing a Pensacola beauty shop last month.

Police said the suspect, who is 5-feet, 5-inches tall, entered the Hair One Salon at 1019 Pensacola Street. at 7:38 p.m. July 17 . He brandished a handgun, demanded money, assaulted the victim, and fled in an unknown direction. 

The man is believed to be in his 4os or 50s and weighs about 160 pounds. He was dressed in a gray, hooded sweater, black pants and gray shoes.

Anyone with information about this incident or location of the suspect is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on cellular phone.
