Man arrested for allegedly assaulting woman during burglary
A man was arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman during a break-in in Waianae.
The man, 36, with no local address, entered the unlocked home at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday and assaulted a 37-year-old woman, Honolulu police said.
The man was located nearby about 30 minutes later and identified by the victim.
Police said the man was arrested and held on suspicion of first-degree burglary, pending an investigation.
