Diving accident leaves woman in serious condition
A 29-yea-old woman possibly suffering from the bends was transported by paramedics from Kewalo Basin in serious condition Saturday morning.
The bends, also known as decompression sickness, is a possibly life-threatening condition that occurs when dissolved gasses in a person’s bloodstream form bubbles upon depressurization.
