Honolulu firefighters airlifted a 55-year-old woman to safety after she injured an ankle while hiking along the Manoa Falls Trail on Saturday.
Sixteen Honolulu Fire Department rescue personnel responded to the 1:28 p.m. call.
Firefighters hiked in to meet the woman and assisted as she was airlifted to a landing zone established at Manoa District Park.
