Firefighters assist hiker after fall in Nuuanu

Honolulu Fire Department rescue personnel assisted a 24-year-old male hiker who was injured in a 30-foot fall at Kapena Falls in Nuuanu.

The incident was reported at 11:40 a.m.

The man was airlifted off the trail and transferred to the care of paramedics.
