Police arrest robbery suspect after victim spots him on street

A 50-year-old man who was the victim of a Sept. 17 robbery in the Ala Moana area identified the man who robbed him. 

Police said the victim saw at 3:10 a.m. the suspect and called police. 

The responding officers detained the suspect, a 23-year-old man who has no local address, on Kapiolani Boulevard near Atkinson Drive. He was positively identified and arrested at 3:45 a.m. on suspicion of second-degree robbery.
