A 64-year-old man was in serious condition after he was apparently struck this afternoon by a vehicle at North School and Hauiki streets.
Emergency Medical Services transported the pedestrian to a hospital in serious condition.
The accident occurred at about 2:50 p.m., EMS said.
It was unclear if the man was in a marked crosswalk.
