Man arrested for allegedly assaulting police officer in Waikiki
Police arrested a 55-year-old man who allegedly assaulted a 29-year-old police officer in Waikiki late Monday night.
The officer was on duty when he was allegedly in the 11:45 p.m. assault, which caused bodily injury, police said.
The man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault of a law enforcement officer and harassment.
