Authorities search for work furlough inmate who fails to return
An Oahu Community Correctional Center work furlough inmate failed to return to the facility Monday, the Department of Public Safety reported.
Public Safety notified sheriffs and police that Dorian Guerpo failed to return to the OCCC Module 20 by the scheduled 5 p.m. return time.
Guerpo left the prison on a job-seeking pass, Public Safety said.
He was serving time for first-degree robbery and is wanted on suspicion of second-degree escape.
His next parole hearing was scheduled for March.
Guerpo is classified as a community custody inmate, the lowest custody level.
