Beretania Street reopens after construction crew breaks water main

Two lanes of Beretania Street near Nuuanu Avenue are closed as crews repair a broken water main tonight.
Board of Water Supply crews were able to quickly repair a broken 12-inch main on Beretania Street near Nuuanu Avenue on Thursday.
The Board of Water Supply said a construction crew inadvertently damaged the main around 3 p.m. Board of Water Supply crews were able to complete repairs to the main roughly six hours later.
Two lanes of Beretania Street near Nuuanu Avenue had to be closed during repairs.
No customers were without water service.
