A 24-year-old Nanakuli man was arrested Friday for robbing a Waianae business at gunpoint this week, police said.

The robbery happened about 6 a.m. Wednesday after two men entered a business and threatened employees with a handgun, police said. The assailants took cash, cigarettes, and a cell phone before fleeing.

Police said the man who brandished the gun was arrested at the main police station for investigation of first-degree robbery about 2:45 p.m. Friday. The suspect was already in custody, having been arrested in Waianae about 4 p.m. Thursday for investigation of terroristic threatening in an unrelated case.
