EL SEGUNDO, Calif. » Rookie Larry Nance Jr. had his nose broken by Los Angeles Lakers teammate Julius Randle during practice Monday.

Nance is questionable for the Lakers’ home game against Denver on Tuesday night.

So is Brandon Bass, who injured his eye during the Lakers’ loss to Dallas on Sunday.

Lakers coach Byron Scott gave a day off to Kobe Bryant for rest after a frustrating start to his 20th NBA season. Bryant was "really angry" with himself after a 3-for-15 shooting performance against the Mavericks.

After the game, Bryant called himself "the 200th-best player in the league." The third-leading scorer in NBA history hit 31.3 percent of his shots in Los Angeles’ first three games, including just 20.7 percent on 3-pointers.

Scott says the 37-year-old Bryant’s shot selection is just fine.
