Person escapes from house fire in Kihei, Maui
An occupant of a two-story Kihei house that was damaged by fire got out safely Thursday afternoon.
Maui firefighters from Kihei, Wailea and Kahului responded to the 3:08 p.m. fire at a house on Kawailani Circle.
Flames were coming from the first floor when the first crews arrived at 3:15 p.m., said Maui Fire Department spokesman Edward Taomoto in an email.
No damage estimates or cause were available at press time.
