A 6-year-old tourist was in critical condition today after the girl was apparently run over by a golf cart in Ko Olina, city officials said. 

The girl was having seizures after the incident and was treated by an Emergency Medical Services crew, which took her to a hospital in critical condition, according to the Honolulu Emergency Services Department. 

An official said the girl fell out the back seat of a golf cart and was run over by a second golf cart on a sidewalk near some rental units at Ko Olina Resort. 

The incident happened about 1:50 p.m.
