Man arrested for allegedly stealing items at Makaha Beach Park
Two surfers caught a homeless man who allegedly tried to steal their personal things while they were surfing at Makaha Beach Tuesday afternoon.
The surfers, ages 17 and 18, confronted the 25-year-old suspect whom witnesses caught on the beach and recovered their items.
The suspect was arrested at 3:30 p.m. on suspicion of second and third-degree theft.
