Repair crews restored power to hundreds of customers and traffic lights at a busy Kalihi intersection this morning after a brief outage.

About 350 customers were affected by the outage, which occurred at about 5:15 a.m. Power was restored around 6:20 a.m.

Officers directed traffic at Nimitz Highway and Kalihi Street duuring the outage.

The cause of the outage was due to a “cable fault,” according to spokesman Peter Rosegg.
