Pali Highway lanes reopen after boulders cleared
Police have reopened two Kailua-bound lanes on the Pali Highway this morning after crew members of the Department of Transportation removed two boulders on the roadway.
Police dispatch received a call about the boulders at about 4:05 a.m. Officers closed the lanes near the intersection of Waokanaka Street. One boulder was three feet in diameter and the second was two feet in diameter.
The Kailua-bound lanes were reopened at approximately 8:40 a.m.
