Police arrest man who allegedly assaulted teen in Salt Lake
Police arrested a suspect in a Christmas Eve assault case that left a 19-year-old man with a concussion.
Police said the suspect, a 31-year-old Kalihi man, punched the teenager in the head at about 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve in the Salt Lake area.
Officers arrested the suspect at about 11 a.m. Monday at the Kalihi Police Station on suspicion of second-degree assault.
The suspect was later released, pending further investigation.
