Police charge 2 men in armed carjacking in Aiea
Two men have been charged with holding up another man in Aiea at gunpoint and taking his car.
Sean Miyake, who listed no local address when he was booked Tuesday, was charged with first-degree theft and car theft on Wednesday. He also is facing charges of credit card theft, abuse and five counts of probation violation. Dean T. Haraguchi, 52, was charged with first-degree robbery.
Bail for both men was set at $125,000 each.
Police said the robbery occurred a 3:30 a.m. Jan. 16. The two men allegedly robbed a 54-year-old man at gunpoint and fled. Police said Miyake took the victim’s car.
