Police arrest man over construction site damage in Waianae

A 52-year-old homeless man was arrested Tuesday afternoon for allegedly damaging an electronic entrance card reader and video monitor at a Waianae construction site.

The incident occurred early Tuesday morning, police said.

The suspect was apprehended near Waianae Elementary School and booked on suspicion of second-degree property damage.

    Instead of evicting the homeless in Hawaii, we go out of our way to accommodate these low information people who are not at all conducive to our community.
