Three people were seriously injured this afternoon in a multiple car crash in Nanakuli.

At around 12:15 p.m. two cars and a large truck were involved in a multiple car crash on Farrington Highway and Laumania Avenue, according to an Emergency Medical Services report.

A male driver and female passenger, both 20, and a 2-year-old boy who was restrained but not in a car seat were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Police closed westbound lanes of Farrington Highway and Laumania Avenue following the crash. All lanes were reopened just after 1 p.m.
